New OTR website launched
We have today launched our new website - the design and flow aided by user feedback and visitor analysis, we hope you find it easier to use! After analysing usage statistics we could see users were often heading for the contact us page, as such we've made our contact details prominent on every page of the website which will hopefully make it easier for people to call us. It'll also mean less clicks to get to the information most are looking for - our telephone number. Other changes include simplifying the menu system, giving a very clear definition between home services and business services. This is down to many phone calls with domestic customers unsure if we did home call outs, or one off laptop repair jobs (we do!).The sites been tested in IE6, 7 and IE8, Chrome, Firefox and Safari so most people should reach us just fine. For the mobile user out there we are currently working on bringing a streamlined site to mobile browsers, we'll update with news when ready.
Speaking of browsers, we were delighted to see a majority of our visitors using IE8, IE7, Chrome and Firefox - unfortunately there are still a significant number of you using IE6 though! (hence us spending the time making the new site backward compatible) - you guys really should be updating your browser - it ensures you have the safest and fastest experience on the web.
