Turkish Hackers Hit Vodafone
An attack by Turkish hackers left high profile websites like the Daily Telegraph, Vodafone and Betfair redirecting to a hackers' site this Sunday night.
The group's attack on computers that hold web address information mistranlsated URL names into the address of the website of the hackers.
The BBC reported that no data from the websites of the seven affected sites was lost or compromised.
Security company Sophos expressed relief that the message displayed merely read "We declare this day as World Hackers Day. Have fun." and wasn't any kind of phishing or malware scam.
